An edge sanding machine delivers what a saw and spindle moulder cannot: it smooths the edge to a surface ready for oiling or lacquering. The Felder FS 700 K is a professional version of this machine — with a long sanding belt 3000 × 200 mm and a large work table, it handles longer and larger workpieces.

The sanding unit tilts from 90° to 45°, the work table is height-adjustable for approximately 125 mm, and belt oscillation ensures even wear and a better sanding finish. For curved pieces, the machine is equipped with an additional table for curve sanding against a sanding drum with diameter 100 mm.
