The Format4 Tempora F600 60.06 Gluebox is a professional edgebander with a dual glue system: next to the classic pot for EVA granules it has the Gluebox system for PU glue, which gives a water-resistant joint with an almost invisible glue line, and you switch between the two glues quickly and without long cleaning.
How it works
The edge, step by step.
The panel travels through the key units of an edgebander. As you scroll, you see what happens to the edge at each one.
Pre-milling unit
A smooth edge first.
The pre-milling unit trues the edge of the panel before any glue is applied, so the band bonds to a flat, clean edge.

Gluebox and EVA glue pot
Two glues. One machine.
A classic pot for EVA granules and the Gluebox system for PU glue. You switch between the two quickly and without long cleaning.
Pressure unit
A near-invisible joint.
The pressure rollers press the band onto the glue. With the Gluebox system the joint is water-resistant, with an almost invisible glue line.
End-trimming unit
A clean finish at both ends.
At the start and end of the panel the end-trimming unit cuts off the overhanging band, so the band finishes flush with the panel.

The band, flush with the panel.
The trimming unit removes the band overhang above the top face and below the bottom face, so the band sits flush with the panel.
Radius scrapers
A smooth, rounded edge.
The radius scrapers smooth the rounded edge of the band and remove the tool marks.

The cleaning and edge-preparation units finish the edge.
