In industrial production an edgebander runs hour after hour without stopping, so robustness is what counts. SCM K 208 ERT-L from the SCM group is a single-sided edgebander of precisely this construction — a mass of 1325 kg tells you it was built for series work. The machine is year of manufacture 2001.

It applies edge banding in rolls 0.4–3 mm and solid edge strips up to approximately 8 mm to workpieces up to 55 mm thick at a feed speed of 12–13 m/min. The line of units finishes the edge completely: pressing, trimming, corner rounding, profile scraping and polishing.
