The horizontal panel saw is the first machine in the flat-pack furniture production chain: it cuts pieces from whole panels with precision and repeatability for all subsequent operations.

Cutting length

A cutting length of 3200 mm.

The cutting length is 3200 mm, and the material pusher stroke is also 3200 mm.

Air cushion

Tables with an air cushion.

The table top is perforated and a blower sits beneath it: the panel rests on a cushion of air.

Automatic pusher

The pusher positions the panel for every cut.

The automatic pusher with six grippers positions the panel by itself for every cut. The gripper opening is 75 mm.

Main unit and scoring saw

A Ø320 mm main blade. A Ø150 mm scoring saw.

The Ø320 mm main unit with a 9 kW motor and a pneumatically sliding scoring saw gives a clean cut on both sides.

Cut height and speed

Motorised cut height. A carriage speed of 5–100 m/min.

The cut height is set by motor, also for grooves. The saw blade projection is 77 mm, the saw carriage travels at 5–100 m/min and the return speed is 130 m/min.

PC7000 control

A 24-inch terminal. Cutting optimisation and labels.

The control runs through a 24-inch terminal with PC7000 software, with automatic laser measuring of the workpiece length, a label printer and a cutting optimisation program. The start screen offers manual programs, cutting plans and label printing.
