After edge bonding comes finishing: the edge cutter trims excess tape and levels transitions — even on curved pieces where a large spindle cannot reach. FRAVOL VSR is a dedicated machine for this operation, year of manufacture 2019.

It processes pieces 16–60 mm high with edge banding 0.4–3 mm and radii from 20 mm onwards. The cutter head with two motors of 0.5 kW each rotates at 12,000 rpm and pneumatically lifts; a display shows the set height of the upper cutter. For cleaner work, a release agent application unit is fitted, and an extended support arm supports larger pieces.
