A stationary filter unit serves as central dust extraction for the workshop: connect multiple machines to it via ducting, and it filters dust and offcuts through bags and collects them for disposal. The Pettini FF 502 B is a new unit of this type from Italian manufacturer Pettini Franco.

It handles airflow of 4000 m³/h with a 5.5 HP motor (approx. 4 kW), filtration is performed by 16 cotton fabric filter bags, and material falls into lower collection bags with manual dampers for fill control. The construction is made of galvanised sheet metal, and the dust extraction port measures Ø250 mm.
