Overview – Format4 KAPPA 450
FORMAT4 kappa 450 sliding table saw is designed for precise panel sizing of solid wood, panel materials, plastics and aluminium — a reliable foundation for every professional joinery workshop.
A robust saw unit in grey cast iron accepts saw blades up to 450 mm diameter and enables cutting height up to 155 mm, blade tilt from 0° to 45° with automatic height compensation, cutting lengths from 2050 to 3700 mm and rip width up to 1500 mm with parallel fence. Height and tilt are adjusted electrically via Power Drive control with precise LED display, and the patented X-Roll sliding table with 10-year warranty ensures smooth running and permanent accuracy.
Upgrade the machine as desired with a pre-scoring unit, PCS safety system which prevents dangerous hand contact with the saw blade in milliseconds, and with crosscut tables and fences for every working method.

- "Power Drive" K2 enables quick and easy adjustment of blade height and angle. When the blade angle is tilted, the height adjustment automatically compensates. Red LED displays on the control panel show precise adjustment values.

- Single-hand and fine adjustment enables quick and precise adjustment of the rip fence. Aluminium fence can be lowered when processing narrow pieces with tilted blade. Formatting width: 800 mm
- Anodized sliding table
- Carriage with X-Roll guide system enables smooth and accurate movement. Guides are clean and dust-free thanks to special brushes. Length: 2500 mm
