Overview – Felder Kappa automatic 100 edition

FORMAT4 KAPPA automatic 100 edition 32.32 is a compact horizontal panel saw designed for fast, precise and repeatable panel cutting. It enables a cutting length of 3,200 mm and a material pusher working area of 3,200 mm, making it suitable primarily for processing standard formats of chipboard, MDF, plywood and other panels. A powerful 13.5 kW motor drives the main saw blade with a diameter of 350 mm, which has a projection of 95 mm. This enables cutting of individual panels and higher stacks of material. The saw carriage feed speed is infinitely variable between 1 and 60 m/min.

A pneumatic pressure beam reliably presses the material onto the work table during cutting, while an automatic side pressure device ensures precise alignment to the fence and perpendicular cuts. Five single-finger and two wide package grippers safely move even larger panel stacks, and six support roller tracks ensure stable material transport. Operation is via computer control and a 15-inch colour touchscreen.
